Boo :( I’m a sand panda bear. So, I’d never thought I would be writing about this. Honestly I love my job because every single time I’d come home I tell my mommy about my day. But the ministry I serve in at Church, known as the Puppet ministry got cancelled due to low numbers. I have been/served in the program for two years or 4 terms. I am thankful for the opportunities I got to experience, as a teacher’s assistant from photocopying puppet scripts, supervising teenagers and giving them acting advice. I am also thankful for the things I learnt in the class. I think a misconception about puppet class or any other service in church for example teaching children is…. It isn’t a class where you preform for preschoolers and kindergarten classes. Or it isn’t a job where you just teach. But along the way you learn as well. Well for me I learnt a lot from hearing and watching the students/puppets preform. I also learnt a lot teaching/assisting in Summer Sunday School. *That was before I got kicked out -_-.* (By The Way, I’m over that). Any-ways in conclusion I also thank all the people I’ve met in this industry. I am not going to name any names but here are there initials C.C., L.N. last but not least S.L. It’s sad to let this puppet class go when it helped me back on my feet from the whole drama last summer. This sounds cheesy but…. “If you love something, let it go. If it comes back to you, it’s yours forever. If it does’t, then it was never meant to be.” In the end I just want to assure you I am sad but I am staying strong. Right now my plan is to continue to attend morning service with my sister on Sunday mornings. I also hope I can find a class I feel comfortable in and serve in. :) Before I leave, I'll leave you with two images of our Puppet Scripts to take a look at. Oh and enjoy the video I made called "De Cy Paul I'll Always Remember You Puppet Class" At the bottom of the page. Enjoy!!! Thank You For Reading MaBlog!!! So! My last blog was about how I LOVE my job :) This wasn’t a planned blog but anyways here it goes.
On Sunday November 17/2013, I got to perform a puppet show and I haven’t done it in a long time. This play was a 2 person play, very odd usually at least 3 people are in a play. Anyways I was one of the performers along with *C* one of my students. After our puppet run through, I took my group of boys and our puppet stand up to where we were going to perform which was the third floor. Our puppet class performs to the preschoolers and kindergartens. The skits we do connect to the preschoolers and kindergartens lesson. Any who *C* and I preformed, after our performance the preschool teacher said they may not understand but well done! It was loud and clear. As my group of boys and I were about to leave with our puppet stand. I witnessed the cutest, most adorable thing! *Made my day* The preschool teacher asked if the children could touch the puppets. Obviously I was like “Of Course” told my other two boys little *MC* and *NL* to come behind the puppet stand and hold up the puppets. Hehehehehe :) We had a little Puppet Meet And Greet. Thank You For Reading MaBlog *BTW here is a scan picture of the puppet script I preformed* |
